When a new school year starts, I like to be prepared for new behaviors to pop-up. So, I’m going to share with you 8 behavior supports I use for my son, students and clients. Let’s start with problem solving skills. Typically I create a folder with ready tools the child can use themselves. With a problem - solving worksheet, children are able to sort our different words or actions they could have used. Talk about what happens, how they felt and what could be done differently. This tool be used starting at pre-K. Stay tuned this week for more tools I use.
